Parking, Check-In, Orientation, Class Changes

Staying Here:

Each week’s events begin on Sunday evening with supper, then Orientation, and end with Friday night’s events, so you may plan to arrive Sunday, (prior to 5:00 PM, if possible), and leave on Saturday morning; check-out time is 8:00-10:00 AM.   Attendees who are attending more than one week in a row will be responsible for their own meals for Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast.

Parking:

Here is a map showing designated parking areas.  Please utilize the designated parking areas, as we cannot assist you with any tickets you may receive while on campus.  If you indicated on your registration that you will be driving to campus, you’ll receive a parking permit at Check-In and will not be ticketed while in a designated parking area, while you check-in. Please keep in mind that all roads on campus are fire lanes and not for parking (or jamming). For more detailed Parking Rules, click here.

Check-in & Orientation

Check-in begins in Bryson Gym at 2:00 PM on the Sunday that begins your week and continues until 6:00 PM, when we break for supper. Dinner will be served from 5:00 – 6:30 PM. Orientation will be held at the Pavilion at 7:00 PM.  Check-in resumes in Sunderland Hall 1st floor lobby (or porch) at 8:00 PM, continuing until 10 PM.
Please note: Although check-in begins at 2:00 PM, dorm rooms will not be ready until 3:00 PM at the earliest.

The Housing Coordinator will be available at check-in for questions about your room assignment.  The SG Participant Support & Care Office (Sunderland 114) will be open, with a few items, such as fans, that you can check out. If you have any issues with your room, you can report them to our team at the P.S.C Office (Sund. 114).

If you have a child in the Children’s Program, there will be a short meeting with Melissa Hyman, Children’s Program Coordinator, in the lobby of Sunderland Hall at 6:30 PM.

Class Changes

Class change requests can be submitted through our Registration Change Request Form (https://forms.gle/q1z5UDE77nqepFWT9) This is the same form linked to from your User Page.
**You do not need a google account to use this form.
**You will be emailed a copy of your request.

We encourage requests to be made before your arrival on campus.|

A QR Code to the Registration Change Request Form will be posted at various locations in Sunderland and at Check-In, in addition to a team member being able to assist non-QR code users.
Our team can assist you with submitting a request at check-in or in the P.S.C. Office, but you won’t receive an immediate reply, as the requests are processed by our Operations Manager, in the order received. We will text or email you a reply as soon as possible, but any possible change will also show on your User Page.
Our Ops. Manager will be working on requests and replies Sunday evening and Monday morning, in lieu of sleep, if necessary!

We understand that if you know you’re on a waitlist, you may also want to know your place on that waitlist. You can submit these requests by text and email, but we may not be able to reply to all inquires, as we prioritize the change requests.

The Class Add/Drop period ends at 6:00 PM on Monday.
This gives you a full day to sit through the classes you are registered for and see if they are a good fit.
**You’ll only be able to switch into a class that has an opening, per our Ops. Manager. Do not ask instructors for permission, as they are unaware of waitlist lengths.
